TVCC has launched our Business Manifesto for 2018, the first annual statement of its kind, which sets out the challenges, opportunities and changes that members believe will make the most significant and positive impact on success in the region. It commits the Chamber, a politically neutral organisation, to campaign for these changes throughout 2018.
Set out across six sections, the document outlines the actions the Chamber will focus on, with the four main priorities identified as:
TVCC are a key delivery partner for the work of the Department for International Trade, the National Government body responsible for promoting the UK as a leading business location and supporting companies to export into new international markets. Additionally, we work closely with academic institutions, Local Authorities and Local Enterprise Partnerships across the region.
Our Thames Valley team are a ‘Centre for Excellence’ in providing international trade services and global representation. We are committed to long-term relationships with our members and providing them with relevant, value-added services that help support regional, national and international business.
Selected as the favourite location for North American corporate headquarters, the region provides a familiar business culture with no language barriers. The Chamber delivers a free service of a soft landing into a networked business community that can save you time and money, and help grow your organisation in a tried-and-tested business location.
Once established, many newcomers to the region join the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce to benefit from meeting potential partners, suppliers and customers at a variety of our regular forums, networking events and conferences.
