As one of the largest accredited Chambers in the United Kingdom, and the only accredited Chamber of Commerce for the region, the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce proudly represents a range of vibrant and impressive businesses, large and small, national and international.

An established centre of excellence for both trade and inward investment services, the Chamber represents seven local Chambers and over 4,000 members, who in turn employ over 295,000 staff. Within its portfolio it has over 3,000 active trade customers and delivers a high quality and diverse calendar of events, ranging from market briefings to life sciences and technology business-led roundtables and international trade training workshops.

A politically neutral organisation, it aims to be the independent voice of business for one of the most economically successful regions of the UK. The Chamber leads, supports and campaigns for a strong programme of policy activity throughout the region, based on the four key priorities and six themes set out in its Business Manifesto.

Inward Investment Services

With proven expertise in helping to co-ordinate and deliver inward investment activity across the region, TVCC works alongside the global networks of the Department for International Trade and , as well as Local Enterprise Partnerships, Local Authorities and professional service providers.

In addition to promoting the Thames Valley as a leading international business location and investment destination of choice for foreign-owned companies (FOCs), it also provides a comprehensive ‘soft-landing support’ service for FOCs wishing to set up or expand in the region. This includes free introductions to academic institutions, solicitors, accountants and recruitment agencies, as well as property advisors and agents, including owners of some of the region’s large commercial estates, to enable new investors to find the most appropriate and suitable site for their individual needs.
