A new multi-million pound, 1,200m2 Innovation Centre has opened in Buckinghamshire based in the Aylesbury Vale Enterprise Zone.
The Westcott Innovation Centre is partly funded by the Local Growth Fund and Aylesbury Vale Enterprise Zone through the Buckinghamshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and managed by Satellite Applications Catapult. The centre will be a flexible facility providing office space – in a range of sizes, meeting rooms as well as flexible engineering facilities with the opportunity to use specialist equipment for light mechanical engineering and rapid prototyping activities.
The virtual opening event occurred online with more than 200 delegates and dignitaries including Greg Smith MP, Member of Parliament for Buckingham, Richard Harrington, CEO of Buckinghamshire LEP and Stuart Martin, CEO of Satellite Applications Catapult. The new centre aims to provide opportunities for organisations and businesses that are looking to establish a new presence in Westcott or that have outgrown previous Westcott facilities.
