New Directory to drive foreign investment

The Department for International Trade has launched the UK Investment Support Directory, a new online tool designed to help inward investors set up and expand their operations in the UK. Connecting inward investors with businesses across the country, such as experts in accountancy, commercial property, law and recruitment, it is accessible via the Invest in Great website.

The platform provides a searchable list of over 300 businesses that have the necessary skills and experience in helping foreign-owned firms establish or expand in the UK. Comprising a range of the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce’s commercial partners and ‘soft-landing’ team based in the region, the collection of companies on the Directory includes Penningtons Manches LLP, Lambert Smith Hampton and James Cowper Kreston.

With the UK recently announced as the leading destination for foreign direct investment in Europe, and the third most significant in the world, the Directory will further support the investment process by making information more accessible to potential investors.
