Our vision is for the Thames Valley to use its knowledge base to advance its position as one of the most dynamic, skilful and creative regional economies in Europe.

Many of the largest businesses in the Thames Valley have been established for less than 25 years. It has created modern, vibrant and successful economy - the greatest contributor to the UK economy outside London.

The Thames Valley Economic Partnership brings together businesses, further education establishments, local authorities and other public sector bodies. It provides effective working across administrative boundaries, providing a business-led 'voice of the economy.'

TVEP has been influencing the economic development of the Thames Valley since 1994:

We provide business-led input to relevant policy initiatives at national, regional and local level.
We ensure a strategic dialogue between South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), South East England Regional Assembly (SEERA), Government Office for the South East (GOSE), local partners and major businesses on key economic issues facing the Thames Valley.
We facilitate research and debate around economic issues facing the region, recommend action and manage delivery of solutions where appropriate.
